The Artist Bootcamp is an exciting blend of learning conference, cross-sector networking hub, and mentoring opportunity for visual artists, held on June 24th, 2016 in Houston, Texas. The Artist Bootcamp will be held both in conjunction with and concurrent to the established and well-attended Springboard South Music Festival and Music Bootcamp—currently in its 5th year—which carries a mission to help musicians be sustainable throughout their careers.

The Artist Bootcamp is designed to help artists:

• Connect and network with artists and industry professionals
• Learn how to start, manage and grow their businesses
• Obtain 1-on-1 mentoring with key artists, gallerists, and agents
• Get exposure to new trends and strategies

Friday, June 24th

The first day is the educational portion of the event and will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Attendees will enjoy highly-interactive panels and two fast-paced, exciting, and entertaining “Moment of Truth” sessions in which participants have one minute to feature their work and pitch themselves to an all-star panel for a chance to win a gallery show, agent representation, or reach new art collectors. Life art creation begins Saturday in the “Crossroads Room” located in the Warehouse Live Concert Hall.

Saturday, June 25th sell you art at The Discover Wine Festival

Just outside of Warehouse Live there will be live music and 12 Texas Wineries. There will be booth space available for a great price to display and sell your art. Saturday, Sunday  and Monday Bootcamp badge holders can socialize at the Warehouse Live Including the “VIP Media Room” featuring live painting and movers and shakers from the music and art communities.
